This exquisite Gems en Vogue ring features Blue Amethyst accented by Citrine and White Zircon. Crafted of 18K yellow gold embraced sterling silver and palladium with a beautifully-constructed undergallery this ring shines with a highly polished finish.

Blue Amethyst: One cushion shaped 13x9mm

Citrine: Two baguette cut 4x2mm

White Zircon: Four round shaped 2mm

Approximate Total Weight: 5ct

Metal: 18K gold plated sterling silver and palladium

Origin: Canada

Blue Amethyst

 Amethyst mined in Brazil’s Montezuma mine had the rare ability to turn blue when heat treated (almost all other amethyst turns either yellow or clear when heated).  This rare version of amethyst is no longer mined and is considered collectable.  I remember how big this stone was on TV home shopping in the early 2000’s only to disappear.
